Privacy Policy
JenSkin ("we," "us," or "our") is a skin longevity wellness service operated by JenSkin LLC. JenSkin is a wellness panel, not a diagnostic test. We take your privacy seriously. Our service involves protected health information (PHI), and we are committed to handling it responsibly, securely, and in accordance with applicable law. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.
1. Information we collect
Account and contact information:
- Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, sex assigned at birth, and mailing address — submitted through our health intake form
- Menopausal status (if applicable) and primary skin concern — used to personalize your report
- Payment information — processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers.
Health and biomarker data:
- Blood biomarker results from your lab draw, delivered securely through our lab partners
- Your personalized JenSkin Skin Longevity Report, including AI-generated interpretations of your biomarker values
- Follow-up panel results if you retest
Marketing and analytics:
- We use the Meta Pixel on our marketing pages (homepage, privacy policy) to measure advertising effectiveness. The Meta Pixel is never placed on pages that display health data (reports, intake forms, or biomarker results).
- When you submit the waitlist form, a "Lead" conversion event is sent to Meta. No health data, biomarker values, or personal health information is transmitted to Meta.
- You can opt out of Meta's data use at facebook.com/ads/preferences.
2. How we use your information
- To facilitate physician review and issue your lab order
- To generate your personalized Skin Longevity Report using AI-assisted biomarker interpretation
- To communicate with you about your panel status, results, and follow-up recommendations
- To improve the JenSkin product, science, and reference ranges (using de-identified, aggregated data only)
- To process your payment
We do not sell your information. We do not share your health data with advertisers, marketing partners, or data brokers. Ever.
3. Who we share your data with
We share your information only with the following categories of service providers, each of whom is bound by contractual obligations to protect your data:
- CLIA-certified laboratory partner: receives your name, date of birth, sex, and address to process your blood draw and deliver results. Our lab operations partner facilitates the digital lab order and result delivery.
- Physician network: a licensed physician reviews your intake and signs your lab order. They receive your health intake information.
- SOC 2 Type II compliant database provider: stores your account information, health intake data, and biomarker results. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
- AI provider: your classified biomarker values (numeric values and classifications, without your name or contact information) are processed to generate the personalized insights in your report. Our AI provider does not train on inputs and does not retain your data beyond each request.
- PCI-compliant payment processor: processes your payment. We do not store credit card numbers.
- Email delivery provider: sends transactional emails (order confirmation, report delivery). They receive your email address and the email content only.
- SMS / text message provider: if you have provided your phone number and consented to SMS, our messaging provider receives your phone number and the message content to deliver texts on our behalf.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.
4. Phone numbers and SMS communications
If you choose to provide your phone number and opt in to receive text messages from JenSkin, you consent to receive informational (e.g., order updates, report-ready notifications) and/or marketing texts (e.g., reminders, founding-member offers) from JenSkin, including texts sent by autodialer.
Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. You can purchase a JenSkin panel without opting in to SMS.
- Message frequency: varies. We typically send transactional messages tied to your panel status, and occasional marketing messages (such as retest reminders or founding-member offers).
- Message and data rates: may apply. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply to each message sent or received.
- How to opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe from all SMS communications. You may also reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at jennifer@tryjenskin.com or (917) 582-6523.
- Our SMS provider: we use a third-party messaging provider (Twilio) to deliver text messages on our behalf. Your phone number and message content are processed by this provider solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.
- Use of your phone number: we use your phone number only for the purposes described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
By providing your phone number on our website, intake form, or any opt-in form, and by checking the SMS consent box, you confirm that you are the subscriber to the phone number provided or are authorized to provide consent for that number.
5. Health data and HIPAA
JenSkin is a consumer wellness service, not a covered entity under HIPAA. However, we voluntarily adopt HIPAA-aligned practices because we believe your health data deserves the highest standard of protection:

- We maintain Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with service providers who handle health information
- Third-party tracking (Meta Pixel) is never placed on pages that display health data
- AI-generated report content is produced without transmitting your personally identifiable information to the AI provider
JenSkin reports are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Your report uses longevity-optimized reference ranges that may differ from standard clinical ranges. Always consult a licensed physician before acting on any recommendation.

- Biomarker results and reports: retained to support progress tracking across panels. You may request deletion at any time.
- Payment records: retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations
